If you have never been to a support group before, you will be worried about going into a room full of strangers. We all had to make that initial journey, but remember we will be a room of new friends!  We do not sit moaning and groaning and we understand you may be muddled and get tired chatting .....so are we!  We too are noise sensitive!  It is hard to burden our nearest and dearest as we feel guilty!  That is why a support group works!  We are a special group of people who share our illness so let us go through our journey together....with a laugh?

Mansfield M.E Group Meetings

 

 

What is the Mansfield M.E Group?

The mansfield ME group is a small group started by people with M.E to provide a local place for people diagnosed to meet up, discuss, share information, and offer support towards one another.

As what better people understand ME/CFS/CFIDS/PVFS than those who have it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What are the meetings all about?

At the Meetings we exchange information and offer much needed support towards each other

We meet up for a chat in a very informal way and provide a relaxed atmosphere

We listen to each other and offer help & advice

We are really friendly, supportive, welcoming and most of all understanding to one another

Man, Women, Young & Old with M.E / CFS / CFIDS / PVFS is welcome as it can affect anyone. We also welcome people with Fibromyalgia as we have realised we have a lot in common!

Carer/family member are welcome too, as Family & Friends have their own worries and concerns which they can express with others who understand.

Refreshments are available.

 

Admission is £1 this covers the cost of running the group and room hire

Nobody understands better than those diagnosed how hard it is to live and to cope so you will find a lot of understanding and realise YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

We are not a miserable group...we do have a laugh and don't spend two hours moaning and groaning...but we are there for one another, and we care!
